After consulting with the NWS Service in Hastings, out of an abundance of caution the Ord Public Schools will run 1:30 dismissal and busses will run at 1:15 due to the anticipated severe weather later today in our area. The OHS Golf Dual with ALC today is cancelled, the Senior Honors Convocation has been rescheduled to Wednesday, May 8th at 2:30, Ord Hoops will be rescheduled until tomorrow at the same time, and all field trips out today will be back in time for the early dismissal. If you need assistance making alternate arrangements for your child due to the early dismissal, please contact your child's school.

There is no Junior High Track Practice today. Students are dismissed at regular time.

Weather Alert: We are watching the weather closely and anticipate another round of weather with the potential for storms coming through Ord around 3:30 dismissal time. There are no OES or St. Mary's students in session today so this only impacts grades 7-12. We will have a regular dismissal and busses will be held if there is questionable weather until the coast is clear. If any parent would like to make alternate dismissal plans for their student, please contact the OHS Office at 728-3241 ext 4. Students at the track meet in Wood River have safety plans available and track meet officials are also watching the weather closely.

The golf tournament scheduled for today at Centura Hills has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

Calendar Reminder:
Thursday is 1:00 Dismissal for both OES & OHS.
