On April 21st and 22nd, a group of teachers and staff from Ord High School and Ord Elementary attended the Spring NETA Conference. The Nebraska Educational Technology Association hosts this spring conference every year so teachers, administrators, technology coordinators, and others can learn about the latest technology used in the world of education. Staff members were able to listen to speakers and attend sessions to learn about technology resources and topics. Mrs. Courtney Welniak from Ord High School also participated in the conference by presenting at her own session over a classroom website that she uses called Classroomscreen.com. She spoke with other conference attendees about how she uses Classroomscreen as a management tool on her Boxlight screen in her classroom and how she utilizes the website’s features throughout her school day. When asked about her experience at NETA, Mrs. Welniak stated, “I really enjoyed getting to share my love of Classroomscreen with other educators and I hope that this website can support them in their classrooms like it has for me!”
