posters

Ord High’s Digital Media class completed a new round of motivational posters to decorate the hallways of the school.  Each student chose a motivational quote and designed a poster depicting Ord students to illustrate the idea. Twelve posters are framed and hung strategically throughout the school.

Tech coordinator Mike Bechtold says the idea incorporates several positive attributes that students can learn from.

“The posters are a great way to get notoriety for those pictured and provide a more cost-effective way to liven up the hallways,” Bechtold said, “and the designers get a lesson in design, production and processing of a viable product.”

Instructor Haley Kauth teaches the Digital Media class, she says, “It is a great way for students to see themselves in the school and show off their designs at the same time.”

The designers get credit for the product as their names are prominently displayed on the frame and the subjects are current students in the school, who can see themselves promoting motivational thoughts.
