The Ord Speech team competed in the Louplatte Conference Meet in Loup City on Wednesday, February 17. They came home Champions for the 5th year in a row. Out of 18 entries Ord took 14 medals. Medalists included: Mykala Lytle - 1st in Serious Prose, Katharine Wadas - 2nd in Serious Prose, Marlee Nebesniak - 6th in Poetry, Tee McKay - 3rd in Entertainment, Maya Brown - 4th in Entertainment, Emma Cline - 2nd in Persuasive, Allison Moudry - 5th in Persuasive, Abigail Jacobs, 1st in Informative, Allison Moudry - 2nd in Informative, Ashley Bruha - 5th in Extemporaneous, Grey Smith - 6th in Extemporaneous, Emma Cline and Hannah Masin - 4th in Duet, Abigail Jacobs, Marlee Nebesniak, Tee McKay, Grey Smith - 3rd in OID, and Katharine Wadas, Annie Struckman, Ashley Bruha, and Hannah Masin - 5th in OID.
The team will compete in Districts on Tuesday, March 9, and State on Thursday, March 18.
