The Ord golf team got it’s season started with 3 meets in a week. They hosted the Ord Invite, sent JVs to Grand Island and dualed Boone Central.
The Chants finished 5th as team at the Ord Invite with Caden Lytle winning a 10th place medal. Lytle shot a 78 on the day. Landon Critel shot 84, Colt Meyer 85, Colton Thompson 95 and Brody Blair 96. Broken Bow won the meet.
Ord’s JV team also played with Deegan Nebesniak shooting 97, Colt Bandiera 108, Colby Hissong 124 and Barron Stunkel 131.
The JV team travelled to Jackrabbit in Grand Island for a meet on Wednesday. Colton Thompson lead the Chants with a 99. Deegan Nebesniak shot 108, Colt Bandiera 112, Colby Hissong 113 and Barron Stunkel 121. Th Chants finished 10th in the 13 team meet.
Ord finished the week with dual win over Boone Central at Albion 178 -180. Lytle again had the best score with 40. Blair and Thompson shot 44. Critel shot 48 and Meyer 50. For JVs Nebesniak shot 49, Stunkel and Bandiera 57 and Hissong 62.
The Chants go back to Albion for the Boone Central Invite on the 17th.
