Eight students from Ord High School participated in University of Nebraska-Kearney’s annual Choral Clinic & Honor Band Festival. The event took place Monday, January 27, 2020 on the UNK campus. Hundreds of students throughout the state gathered to take part in the special day. The students were divided into five different ensembles. OHS was fortunate to have at least one student participate in four of the five groups. Jianna Grooms worked with the Women’s Choir, and Autumn Foster, Callee Alexander, and Trevor Vancura participated in the Festival Choir. On the band side, Liana Jablonski and Jessica Bruha were members of the Honor Band, while Ashley Bruha and Vito Javarone took part in the Festival Band. The day concluded with a concert in UNK’s Health & Sports Center.
