The OHS eSports team brought home the championship trophy, again.
On Saturday, November 18, the 2023 Division 3 State Esports in Smash Bros 2v2 was held at 7 pm in Ley Theatre at Wayne State College. The Ord team consisted of Dylan Rogers and Dominic Rogers with sub Brady Hilkemeier.
Entering the state rounds the team was ranked 4th. Each match is the best out of 5 games. In the first round, they played David City 1 and won 3-0. In the second round, they played Amherst and won 3-0. In the championship round, they won 3-0 against Stanton.
Coach Heather Edwards said, "Dominic and Dylan Rogers have grown throughout the season and as their coach I am so proud of them."
