Art

Many new and exciting experiences were had by the OHS Art Seniors on a trip to the Joslyn Museum of Art early last week. The Joslyn is currently showcasing a temporary show titled "30 Americans", which is the first major exhibition at the museum to survey the work of contemporary African American artists featuring work from the past three decades. Afterwards the students toured Relentless Merch of Lincoln where they were shown the many steps it takes from designing to screen printing clothing for a school or business. After learning the process, students were given the opportunity to chose a shirt to be printed and take home. It was a great day to see work from famous artists as well as discover new ways to apply art in a career field.
